As TRT Digital Products Department we’re looking for a candidate who understands and shares our goals to create a unique user experience on Smart TV platform. The software engineering team is looking to hire talented Frontend Developer (Big Screens) to build the core digital products for TRT.

  

Key Responsibilities

●Design and development of applications for the Smart TV platforms such as Samsung Tizen OS, LG webOS, ensuring the performance, quality

●Building modular and component based projects for company

●Collaborate with our product and design teams to define features specifications and timelines.

●Participate in Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies

●Stay up to date with the latest technologies and continually iterate on new releases to ensure market leading digital products

Basic Qualifications

●Experience in Pure JavaScript and React.js

●Willing to work with most popular third-parties

●Knowledge of version control systems (preferably Git), GitFlow is plus

●Open to work with new challenges in Smart TV platforms

●Willing to research and apply new technologies

●Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment 

Preferred Qualifications

●Experienced in contributing to large digital organizations

●Strong coding and development background

●Knowledge of Smart TV development life cycle and unit tests

●4+ years development experience on JavaScript

●Experience in media industry (OTT, DRM, Video Ads) is plus

●Knowledge of ShakaPlayer or Video.js is plus
