We are looking for colleagues to work for our International Digital News Department as the Editor in Japan, Malay, Hebrew, Somali, Pidgin,Bahasa Indonesian, Hindi, Dutch, Swedish, Korean, Finnish, Polish, Danish and Norwegian languages in İstanbul.

Job Description

• Editing all communications materials in one of the mentioned languages on time,

• Assist the coordinator in generating subbing and dubbing guidelines for our contents,

• Checking translation of the dubbing and subtitling scripts into the relevant language that are done,

• Review translations for dubbing and subtitling, ensuring,quality and accuracy, make necessary corrections,

• Collaborating with Marketing, Audience and other teams to ensure projects have the content needed to be completed on time.

Qualifications

• University degree or work experience in Film/Media/Digital Media/Translation sectors,

• Experience working in script/quality editing-related services,

• Must have native or near-native language proficiency in one of the languages: Japan, Malay, Hebrew, Somali, Pidgin, Indonesian Bahasa, Hindi, Dutch, Swedish, Korean, Finnish, Polish,Danish and Norwegian,
• Having a good or advanced level of English or Turkish,
• Experience working with AI technologies,
• Quickly dive into TRT's writing culture, learning the style and infusing it into all work,
• Ability to manage complex, fast-moving and adventitious communications challenges and be able to deal with ambiguity.
