We are looking for fluent English / Arabic speaking junior journalists, creative media producers and recent higher education graduates who are interested in producing human-centred stories and news.

  • Born in or after 1994
  • Having a college or university degree in 2021 latest
  • Having Turkish citizenship or a Blue Card
  • For TRT World applicants: being native-fluent in English
  • For TRT Arabi applicants: being native-fluent in Arabic and fluent in English
  • Having a diverse cultural background and lived abroad (outside of Turkey) for many years and got a formal education in that country
  • Being into media and broadcasting

Moving to my homeland after growing up in the US was a milestone in my life. Going for a walk by the Bosporus is my favorite thing in Istanbul with its rich history and unique culture. Working with a talented, diverse and supportive team at Turkey’s first English global news channel has helped me grow in many ways. TRT World is an inspiring place for me.

I was born and raised in Canada within a household that always made sure to stay close to its Turkish roots. It didn’t take long for me to realize that I wanted Istanbul to be my forever home. I knew no place would give me the same excitement as Istanbul does. With its rich history and breathtaking views, there really is nowhere in the world that can top the city that connects Europe to Asia.
