TRT Network is looking for a head with 7+ years of experience to handle both Brand & Marketing for its upcoming International expansion project. The successful candidate will help us launch and grow our global presence through their experience in establishing an international brand and building engaging marketing campaigns that will ignite and drive consumer passion for what our brand offers.

The head will also contribute to the development of TRT International strategies, drive the collaborative efforts, and inspire teammates on all levels to exceed expectations. In addition, will also be responsible for managing the stakeholders relationship for all things related to brand strategy and marketing efforts.

The Marketing & Branding team at TRT International is responsible for both establishing and maintaining brand integrity across all markets and platforms, and having a 360 degree marketing campaign strategies & plans. The team creates awareness of TRT production and its attributes through storytelling across a wide-range of digital platforms as well as traditional earned media platforms such as newspapers, magazines, TV, and radio programmes.


  • Design and implement comprehensive global marketing strategies for all phases of the product life cycle, including promotional calendars and programs.

  • Develop integrated marketing strategies across Above the Line, Below the Line and Digital.

  • Track progress and efficiency of marketing campaigns and optimise as needed.

  • Provide detailed analysis and reporting on marketing campaigns.

  • Establish a brand strategy, including the brand positioning, setting of style guides, brand guidelines, brand vision and value proposition, maintain brand consistency and increase brand awareness.

  • Collaborate with content and the planning teams to identify the right mix of diverse content campaigns to maximize sign-ups and conversion (subscription) into our service – synchronizing editorial and marketing plans.

  • Collaborate with the Design Team and communicate audience driven brand strategies for creative executions.

  • Understand the competitive environment from both a platform and content perspective (TV, SVOD & Theatrical), applying insights to gain competitive advantage.

  • Support CRM to develop retention strategies and align within the overall marketing plan.

  • Conduct general market research to keep abreast of trends and competitor’s marketing movements.

  • Act as the organization’s agent with external parties such as media, stakeholders, agencies and any strategic partnerships.

  • Predict future trends, and track consumers engagement trends across various platforms and make data-driven decisions.

  • Create a budget for the team, and ensure compliance.


  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or a related discipline. 

  • Have at least 7 years of experience in Marketing and Branding (in-house or agency) - preferably with experience in the media, technology, or agency sector.

  • Being creative in turning ideas into reality, and tailor the idea to impact the right audience with the right message.

  • Digital expertise. Must understand digital marketing and has demonstrated experience launching and managing unique digital campaigns, from ideation to execution and performance analysis.

  • Demonstrate experience developing strategy for, and managing through the line marketing campaigns for products and/or services.

  • Passion for TV and film as well as knowledge of subscription services and the broader media landscape.

  • Have a global mindset and strong business acumen, preferably with experience of working in multicultural environments.

  • Have excellent judgment as well as very strong writing and communication skills.

  • Be a self-starter who comes up with new approaches and is eager to try those out new/innovative campaigns.

  • Excellent analytical, verbal, and written skills. Results oriented, self-motivated.

  • Native in English (Arabic or a second language is an asset).
