TRT (Global Entertainment) is looking for a head with 7+ years of experience to handle both Publicity & Communications for its upcoming International expansion project. The successful candidate will be equipped and excited to spearhead the establishment of the team and oversee publicity campaigns. As well as, develop communications strategies for TRT International across the globe. This role requires a Strategic & Creative mind that can create meaningful and groundbreaking PR campaigns from inception through execution.

The head will also contribute to the development of TRT International strategies, drive the collaborative efforts, and inspire teammates on all levels to exceed expectations. In addition, will also be responsible for managing the stakeholders relationship for all things related to brand perception.

The Communications & Publicity team at TRT International is responsible for communicating the broader TRT story, inclusive of its flagship titles, product features, strategic partnerships, and policy issues. The team creates awareness of TRT content production and its attributes through storytelling across a wide-range of platforms such as digital social networks, TV, and print.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 


  • Establish and drive a multi-channel (Above the Line, Below the Line and Digital) communications strategy, and track progress and efficiency of implementations with analysis and reports,

  • Prepare and manage all communications material,

  • Provide tailored content curation strategy, from TRT’s library of content, for various markets,

  • Collaborate with the Design Team and communicate audience driven promotional strategy for creative executions,

  • Analyze media coverage, research and prepare necessary materials for various media platforms,

  • Develop, communicate and monitor brand voice and maintain brand integrity and coherence across all platforms,

  • Manage media relations and develop contacts with media members, influencers, and community leaders,

  • Lead a team of communication and publicity professionals,

  • Assist in the creation, and especially messaging, of digital, video, audio and print content,

  • Track engagement across various platforms and make data-driven decisions,

  • Organise and manage presence at industry events and conferences, create engagement, positive public opinion and interest in the brand and establish strong partnerships,

  • Create a budget for the team, and ensure compliance.


KEY SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION


  • Have at least 7 years of experience in PR (in-house or agency) - preferably with experience in the media, technology, or agency sector,

  • Have a global mindset and strong business acumen, preferably with experience of working in multicultural environments,

  • Under the global or key markets digital media and competition landscape,

  • Have excellent judgment as well as very strong writing and communication and public speaking skills,

  • Have passion in entertainment and possess the prospect of delivering stories from all over the world to all people from different backgrounds,

  • Ability to build a strong network of relationships with journalists,

  • Be adept at brand reputation and media issues management,

  • Be a self-starter and proactive who comes up with new approaches and is eager to try those out new/innovative campaigns,

  • Has a strong bias-to-action and can change course, be scrappy and get things done on short timeframes,

  • Demonstrate previous experience managing and implementing a multi-channel communication strategy for a product/service Launch or brand campaign,

  • Excellent analytical, verbal, and written skills. Results oriented, self-motivated,

  • Native in English (Arabic or a second language is an asset).
