TRT (Global Entertainment) is looking for a Graphic Designer with 3+ years of experience to be part of our highly motivated creative team in Istanbul.

The Graphic Designer is responsible for developing and implementing original creative design concepts and approaches, overseeing and working on multiple projects through execution and managing intermediate and junior design staff.

The Graphic Designer will lead and contribute to the art direction and development, execution of branding strategies, provide creative solutions to enhance brand recognition, drive the collaborative efforts of the project’s design and creative teams, and inspire teammates on all levels to exceed expectations. The Graphic Designer is also responsible for managing the stakeholders’ relationship for all things related to design.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage projects from ideation to finalisation. 

  • Develop and implement visual concepts for digital properties in various platforms including web, mobile, tablet and smart TV.

  • Follow briefs and digital strategies from various managers to meet network requirements.

  • Communicate and facilitate art direction throughout design processes and production.

  • Ensure the coherence and alignment of the design language across digital properties.

  • Drive and evolve the expression of the brand across all digital properties.

  • Lead and produce promotional material to meet marketing communication strategies.

  • Develop and deliver digital creative solutions that strengthen the brand distinction and leadership position.

  • Establish effective design workflows, articulate and defend conceptual and directional choices.

  • Promote continual creative improvement and actively contribute to a culture of innovation, excellence and accountability.

  • Conceive and create experience-oriented design solutions that fulfill strategic business objectives.

  • Mentor and lead intermediate and junior creative staff through critique of their work to maintain consistent creative quality and award-winning work.

  • Organize and archive materials such as artworks, fonts and other files necessary for reference and for record keeping.


KEY SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Graphic Design and 3+ years of experience as a Digital Graphic Designer.

  • High level of proficiency in online, social media and promotional design. 

  • Recognized expertise in graphic design for digital, or social media design.

  • Advanced experience in the creative development process in a client-services environment.

  • Experience in photo-editing, motion design and video. Knowledge in UI/UX is a plus.

  • Competency in Adobe Creative Suite especially Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and Premiere.

  • Comprehensive awareness and interest in new digital visual trends, social media industry as well as new platforms and technologies for the digital channel and related mediums.

  • Strong team player and ability to lead and develop projects as well as creative solutions to provide timely visual outputs to keep work on schedule.

  • Excellent presentation skills and communication abilities at all levels of both internal and client organizations.

  • Strong ability to prioritize projects based on short and long-term needs.

  • Comfortable to develop creative and fast paced asset production.

  • Managed an internal creative team consisting either of visual design, videographers, social media graphic and video designers.

  • Highly empathetic to your audiences and ensure creative ideas are grounded in insights.
