Senior Data Analyst - Products & Insight Team

TRT Network is looking for a Senior Data Analyst with 5+ years of experience for its upcoming International expansion project. The successful candidate will help us to shape our online video streaming product both in the domestic and global markets that will ignite and drive consumer passion for what our brand has to offer.

The successful candidate will focus on analyzing subscriber retention and engagement, incoordination with marketing, product, data engineering, data science and business teams.

In addition, the candidate will design and implement reporting that enables internal clients to access, explore and monitor data, as well as perform analysis and share underlying trends and actionable insights that will be pivotal in decision making, and help teams have a better understanding of our subscribers across various platforms, audience behavior andengagement drivers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mine data, perform quantitative analysis and create clear and actionable narratives about our audience, their behaviors, and drivers of retention and engagement. 
  • Produce visual reports on business functions, key technology journeys, and performance metrics used to drive meaningful change on key objectives established by our leadership.
  • Collaborate with the Data Science & Engineering team to improve our data ecosystem over time, including the data itself and the tools that will help us to scale analytics
  • Act as the bridge between business teams, product team, and technical teams togather tooling and data requirements
  • Partner with colleagues facilitating the design, build and automation of reports /dashboards that provide insight into customer conversion and behavior. 
  • Build intuitive interfaces, infographics, and visualizations to tell stories with data. 
  • Creating and maintaining data documentation both for an internal, technical audience and for partner user teams
  • Developing efficient ways for non-technical stakeholders to access and work with large data sets 
  • Create presentations with analysis and actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences

  • 5+ years of experience in a highly analytical environment (e.g. management consulting,corporate analytics, strategy and operations, or other roles requiring a blend of analytical, strategic, and cross-functional work)
  • 2+ years work experience using SQL and Python/R or other statistical programming languages.
  • Experience working with Business Insights tools like Tableau 
  • Expertise with spread sheet-based tools like Google Sheets or Excel
  • Familiarity with data exploration and data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker,Chartio, etc. It is a plus if you can share a portfolio of clear, intuitive and insightful visualizations. 
  • Understanding of statistics concepts (e.g., hypothesis testing, regression analysis).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy 
  • Strong knowledge around online video streaming services industry 
  • Ability to think strategically, analyze and interpret market and consumer information.
  • Strong communication skills, as well as written and verbal presentation skills. 
  • Experience working with large, complex data sets 
  • Experience in AVOD / SVOD type of services is a plus.
  • Experience using Spark and machine learning packages (Tensorflow, Keras, Pytorch) to build models is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
